Fishinggadget.com is operated by Fishing Gear Store Ltd, trading as FishingGadget, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13793658.

Our registered address is 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.

In these terms, “we,” “us” and “our” refer to Fishing Gear Store Ltd. “You” refers to the person using our website or purchasing from our store.

These terms explain the conditions that apply to using our website and ordering our products. Please read them before placing an order. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Our online store is hosted on Shopify. Payment services are provided through the payment options available at checkout.

Eligibility and account terms

To place an order, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete contact, billing and delivery information.
• Use a payment method you are authorised to use.
• Comply with applicable laws and trade restrictions.

If you create an account, keep your login details secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorised access.

We may restrict account access or decline an order where reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, unlawful activity or a material breach of these terms. Any payment for an order we cannot fulfil will be refunded.

Product information

FishingGadget offers fishing accessories, tools, gifts and related products. Please read the description, dimensions, size options and intended use on each product page before purchasing.

We aim to present products accurately. Colours may appear slightly different depending on screen settings. Accessories shown for demonstration are included only when stated in the product description.

Prices and promotions

Prices are displayed in US dollars (USD) unless expressly stated otherwise. Shipping charges and applicable taxes collected by us are shown before you complete payment.

Prices and promotions may change for future orders. Changes do not alter the agreed price of an accepted order.

If we discover a pricing or product information error, we will contact you to explain it. Where necessary, we will offer the choice of proceeding with the corrected information or cancelling for a full refund.

International charges

Unless expressly included at checkout, import duties and customs clearance charges may be payable separately by the recipient. Please check the rules that apply in your destination country.

Orders and payment

Order acknowledgement and acceptance

After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt. Unless we expressly confirm acceptance earlier, your order is accepted when we send the dispatch confirmation.

If we cannot accept or fulfil your order because of stock availability, an unresolved pricing error, delivery restrictions or suspected fraud, we will notify you and refund any payment taken for the unfulfilled order.

Payment methods

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Payments are handled by the relevant payment provider. Your bank may apply currency conversion or international transaction fees.

Payment is normally collected when you place your order. The transaction description on your statement may reflect our company, store or payment provider. Contact us if you need help identifying a charge.

Order details

Please check your selected product, variant, quantity and delivery address before paying. If you notice an error, contact us immediately so we can try to correct it before fulfilment.

Section 5

Shipping and delivery

Orders normally require 1–3 business days for processing before dispatch.

For the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and supported European destinations:

• Standard Shipping — $4.99 USD: estimated delivery within 7–14 business days after dispatch.
• Express Shipping — $5.99 USD: estimated delivery within 6–12 business days after dispatch.

Processing time is additional to transit time. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays. Express shipping does not shorten the processing period.

Other countries, remote areas and islands may require longer delivery times. Available services and charges are displayed at checkout.

Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise. Customs procedures, carrier disruptions and weather may affect arrival times. We will assist with delayed or missing shipments.

Section 6

Returns, refunds and cancellations

Our 30-day return policy

We offer a voluntary 30-day return policy from delivery, subject to the conditions in our Refund & Return Policy. To request a return, email support@fishinggearstore.shop with your order number.

Under this voluntary policy, items should be unused, unmodified and returned with their original accessories. Please contact us for return instructions and the correct return address before shipping anything back.

Customers normally pay return shipping for a change of mind. We cover necessary return shipping for confirmed defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied items.

Refund processing

We aim to inspect returns within 3–5 business days of receipt and issue approved refunds within 5 business days of approval. Your bank or payment provider may take an additional 3–10 business days to display the credit.

Any shorter deadline required by applicable law takes precedence. Refunds normally go to the original payment method.

Cancellation requests

To help us stop an order before dispatch, contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 12 hours of placing it. Once fulfilment has started, we may be unable to stop the shipment.

If goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet applicable legal requirements, contact us for the remedies available under consumer law. Our voluntary return conditions do not restrict those rights.

Section 7

Chargebacks and disputes

We aim to investigate concerns fairly and propose an appropriate solution. If a payment dispute is opened, we may provide relevant order records, tracking information and communications to the payment provider for its review.

Contacting us does not remove your right to use a payment provider’s dispute procedure or any consumer protection available to you.

Section 8

Product safety and responsible use

Use each product only for its intended purpose and follow its instructions, age guidance, compatibility requirements and stated limitations.

• Handle hooks, lures, cutting tools and other sharp components carefully.
• Keep sharp items and small parts away from young children.
• Supervise children where appropriate and check the age guidance for each product.
• Inspect equipment before use and stop using damaged or worn components.
• Select tackle suitable for the intended fishing conditions and stated load limits.
• Follow local fishing rules, licensing requirements and safe fish-handling practices.

Product misuse can cause injury or damage. These safety instructions do not exclude our responsibility for defective products or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Intellectual property

Website content, including text, photographs, graphics and logos, belongs to us or the relevant rights holders and is protected where applicable by intellectual property law.

You may view our website for personal shopping purposes. Commercial reproduction or reuse of protected content requires permission from the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by law.

Third-party names and marks remain the property of their respective owners. If you believe content on our website infringes your rights, please contact us with details so we can investigate.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, defective products where liability cannot be excluded, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be restricted.

Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.

This choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory local rights or prevent you from bringing proceedings in courts available to you under applicable consumer law.

To raise a complaint, email support@fishinggearstore.shop with your order number, the issue and your preferred resolution. We aim to respond within 1–2 business days.
